When customers come back to eDEN time and time again, whether due to a house move, or the need for a new space, it’s a huge compliment and testimonial to the quality of our garden rooms. One such client is Evan, who originally purchased an eDEN garden room in 2016, and for whom we have recently completed a second, larger build in his long garden for an entirely new use.
Our clients’ first garden room was built as a practical solution to extend storage and utility space that was lacking in their property. Built close to their kitchen for accessibility and ease of connections, this 4.9m x 2.5m garden studio was designed as a utility room to house their washing machine and dryer, allowing them to maximise storage in the house for other, more important things and keep practical clutter hidden away. In addition to these practical features, our client chose to include a shower room, to provide an additional bathroom for the property, which eDEN Garden Rooms fully fitted and connected.
We were delighted to be contacted again by Evan in 2021, who, having been so impressed with his first studio, decided that a larger social space at the end of his very long garden would be an ideal way to extend his home and provide a second living area for his family. As you can see, this attractive bespoke 8m x 2.5m garden room stetches across the entire width of the garden, with a beautifully symmetrical aesthetic and generous decking area making it a stunning focus at the end of the garden.
This one-of-a-kind garden studio design incorporates bespoke internal cupboards on both the left and right to store cushions and garden furnishings throughout the winter. The front elevation of this bespoke garden room includes an enormous hardwood decking area, ideal for social occasions in the Summer, as well as a 300mm canopy with integrated LED spotlights. Two sets of sliding aluminium doors make the most views over the garden and accentuate the symmetrical nature of this unique design.
And, to further add to the symmetrical theme, after seeing the completed garden room in all its glory, our client’s neighbour has got in touch with our team and commissioned a similar design for their garden, which our construction team will begin work on in just a few months’ time.
On completion of the studio, Evan commented “I’d simply say it’s the best place for a lazy afternoon nap ever!! Removed from the world and looking out onto the garden“.
