With enviable 360-degree countryside views, when our clients Claire and Mark moved to their new home near Henley-In-Arden last year, they knew that they had the perfect spot for a stunning bespoke garden studio. Located in the midlands, just south of Birmingham, our clients run a physiotherapy and pilates business, so a serene space with calming vistas would be the ideal environment for a treatment and practice room.
The site previously housed an old pergola, which was sat upon a concrete base. This was cleared before the eDEN team started work, and our survey team first visited the site in November 2021.
Claire said “Duncan came to measure and spec the room in November. He was great and made excellent suggestions to make the most of the space and our views. The corner window in particular was a fantastic suggestion, which I now can’t imagine the space without. Duncan managed to turn around the quote quickly and fit in our build before Christmas, which was just amazing.”
To meet Claire and Mark’s brief, the eDEN team designed a stylish 5 x 3.5m studio, featuring a 3-door aluminium bifold to the front elevation, and a dual-aspect corner window to show-off the sprawling countryside views. A small 300mm decking step was installed for easy access down onto the newly shingled landscaping, which is mirrored by a 300mm overhead canopy with external LED lighting; a standard feature with an eDEN Garden Room.
Talking to us about the two-week build, Claire told us “Matt came to do the build and he is absolutely fantastic – a real gem and an asset to eDEN Garden Rooms. He is such a craftsman, so polite, and the attention to detail was second to none. Nothing was too much effort and he worked so hard – you blink and the structure is up!”

It will be a physio and pilates room, and we are so pleased that we added the corner view which emphasises the peaceful country views. The space itself feels lovely and modern; it’s warm when you go in, and just a very inviting place to be. Even down to the styling and finish on the guttering, everything is modern and expertly detailed”.
“Since Matt finished, we have been landscaping, and when the garden comes into bloom in the Spring it will bed in a little more. Will be adding some large mirrors inside, and knowing this Duncan suggested reinforcing the walls ahead of time which was great advice. We will also be adding signage and hanging a bespoke metal logo for the business outside. We are really pleased with eDEN and can’t recommend them more highly.”
