This recent client in Surrey contacted us after discussing with her neighbour her desire to replace her unsightly garden garage with something more aesthetically pleasing. It just so happened that her neighbour is a designer and had seen our work in action in one of her client’s gardens. Following an introductory call about her project, we conducted a site visit at our client’s property and immediately got to work on designing something to suit the space.
This unique garden room in Surrey was designed to be multi-functional, combining a large storage area with a useful office space for working from home. As both spaces were to be used in different ways, our team designed the studio with dual access; the store area (for security reasons) being accessed from the garden side, whilst the main office access is through bright and airy French doors, with views out onto the garden.
eDEN’s complete service included designing and installing a decking area to fit around existing paving and trees, which matched beautifully with our signature cedar panels to the front of the garden room, for a seamless design. As with all our garden rooms, electricity and Wi-Fi hook-up was essential, and so the eDEN team got to work, skilfully disconnecting and the reconnecting power from the old garage to the new room. As the storage area would need to hold heavy shelving, walls were reinforced to bear a greater load, and we added hooks for storing ladders and other large items.
Our customer was so thrilled with her finished garden room that she invited us back in the New Year to build a matching mini cedar shed! Our client said…
