Garden Rooms Around Mature Trees

A garden room does not have to mean removing or damaging an existing tree. Screw pile foundations require minimal excavation and can often be positioned around significant roots.

Where needed, exploratory work can help identify larger roots before foundation positions are decided. Screw piles can also be a practical choice for gardens with restricted access as they do not require large excavation equipment.

Protecting Trees During Construction

A tree survey can help identify the likely extent of the root system and provide information about the tree’s condition and longevity. This can then be considered when planning the garden room.

Screw piles cause less disruption to the surrounding soil than more invasive foundation methods, helping to maintain natural drainage and reduce disturbance around the tree.
