Can I sound proof my garden games room?
We offer additional sound insulation as one of our many upgrades. We can add a layer of acoustic sound board in the walls and ceiling. We also offer a sound limiting glazing treatment to keep the sound in, or indeed out, of your garden games room.
Do you build irregular shaped garden games rooms?
Absolutely! Our design-from-scratch approach means that we will create a building that fits perfectly into your garden.
The fact that our carpenters then build on-site also means we can work with the space we have available and adapt to any obstacles or odd shaped fence lines as we go.

Do I need planning permission for a garden games room?
As our buildings are classed as outbuildings, your in-garden games room would likely fall under permitted development and therefore shouldn’t require planning permission in most cases.
This, however, depends on the dimensions and height you are looking to build, any existing adaptations to your home, and other implications like whether you’re in a flat or conservation area.
Our team are not planning consultants and it’s the homeowner’s responsibility to check the permissions on the property, but we do offer a planning application service and are always happy to guide you through the process.
Is electrical connection included in the pricing?
Yes, all electricity and internet access are included as standard in the price of our garden rooms. Your games room will be ready to plug in and play from day one.
Who is responsible for garden clearance for my games room?
As with every aspect of your garden room, from planning to build to aftercare, we can take care of everything.
So, whether you’ve got an old shed that needs removing, or uneven ground that requires some work, our team can quote to do any ground prep that is needed ready for build.
What foundations do Eden use for garden games rooms?
We use a screwpile foundation as standard for all our garden rooms. Screwpiles are extremely load-baring whilst minimising the disruption to your garden (so no digging or concrete, therefore much better for your garden eco system).
In some cases, where concrete is preferred or required (due to the ground quality or very heavy items being placed inside the room), we can quote to lay a new concrete base, and can potentially work with an existing base, subject to inspection.
Can I integrate a shed store into my garden games room?
Yes, you can! And what a great idea. An integrated shed of any size can be neatly added onto the side or rear of your garden games room.
Extra storage is ideal if you want to do away with the garden shed and streamline your garden with a single, stylish building. We’ll give your shed its own external door, concealed carefully within the same cladding as the main building. Internal access can be added if needed.
